Riverside

By Rachel Greenwood

The story is set in the fictional small town of Riverside, Arkansas. The author did a great job of putting me in that small town and making me feel like I knew these people like my own neighbors.

On the surface, our main character, Leah Simmons, is a simple school teacher, and Riverside is a normal, boring little town. But the reality turns out to be far from it. When a student goes missing, Leah sees striking similarities to the case of her own sister, who went missing twenty years earlier.

The secrets emerge at just the right pace, keeping me guessing. I couldn’t put it down until I knew it all!

Short but well done. A quick entertaining read, that’s not predictable.
